We are currently seeking a Cyber Security Engineer/Analyst to support A-Department at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division for work on the Tomahawk Tactical Weapon System.
Essential Functions/Job Duties:
Develop and maintain system security requirements in accordance with DoD, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Department of Navy (DoN), and Command Site security directives, standards, and processes in the total engineering effort.
Provide security engineering and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) analysis for the program, in order to plan, schedule, implement and integrate the operational use of all system resources, ensuring IA and security compliance within DoD, Navy and Command Site local system Security directives.
Prepare and document security inputs for systems throughout the system’s life cycle by working closely with all engineering disciplines to include without limitation: network, software, hardware, and integration; system administrators; help desk personnel; and the Command Site Information Assurance Management (IAM) office.
Collect and import system security test results and other supporting security test analysis data. The Contractor shall generate and maintain data and provide regular updates to Government system/cyber test personnel.
Collect and maintain the appropriate, current system security accreditation and associated documentation for operational afloat systems. The Contractor shall also conduct laboratory, schoolhouse facilities, and shipboard verification of such accreditation/documentation, as specified by DoD policies.
Perform cybersecurity testing that result in verification of and validation of system cybersecurity requirements.

Security Clearance:
Candidates must have an active clearance OR the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance, and will be subject to a US security background investigation (i.e. favorable background investigation / credit score). Additional eligibility requirements for access to various levels of classified information may also be required. An active security clearance is highly desirable.
