  • Overview

    We are currently seeking a candidate to provide test and evaluation support to the Navy Distributed Integration and Interoperability Assessment Capability (DIIAC) project. Candidate will be responsible for operation and evaluation of various Simulation/Stimulation (SIM/STIM) systems during DIIAC test and evaluation events. Candidate will also be required to operate and perform on-line analysis of the Multi-Link System Test and Training Tool (MLST3) during Interoperability Developmental and Certification (IDCT) testing.


    Essential Functions/Job Duties:

    Ability to support testing, executing test steps, documenting results on test procedures.

    Performs simulation systems operations and on-line data collection/analysis during test evolutions.

    Ability to Document Test Observation Reports.

    Performs Analysis on simulation and tactical combat systems.

    Provides lab console operations on various Aegis Baselines from 5.3 up to 9.

    Configures, setup and operates various Simulation/Stimulation (SIM/STIM) systems.

    Candidate may also be required to support at-sea testing during Deploying Group System Integration Test (DGIST) events.




    Written Communications: Provides technical status, project updates and issue identification input to Monthly Status Reports (MSR). 


    Verbal Communications: Demonstrates excellent, clear and concise verbal communication skills. Active communicator, giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate.


     Skills/Qualifications: One year relevant experience in the operation of MLST3 during test and on-line analysis of Tactical Data Link (TDL) message exchange. Ability to generate test scripts as required. Experience in test and operation of Aegis shipboard Combat Systems, TDLs, SIM/STIM systems, and associated communications equipment.



    Customer Interface Activities: 

    Attends technical discussions, forums, and other project meetings and/or activities.


    Work Schedule:    STD/40 ; The ability to work non-standard work hours and schedules in support of project requirements. Ability to support travel to attend meetings and participate in exercises and other Fleet support requirements. Ability to complete all tasks in a timely manner within established time frames.


    Travel: <10% 

    Minimum Education Requirements:
    HS Diploma



    U.S. Citizenship is required


    Security Clearance:


    Candidates must have an active clearance OR the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance, and will be subject to a US security background investigation (i.e. favorable background investigation / credit score). Additional eligibility requirements for access to various levels of classified information may also be required. An active security clearance is highly desirable.
