We are currently seeking a candidate to provide test and evaluation support to the Navy Distributed Integration and Interoperability Assessment Capability (DIIAC) project. Candidate will be responsible for operation and evaluation of various Simulation/Stimulation (SIM/STIM) systems during DIIAC test and evaluation events. Candidate will also be required to operate and perform online analysis of the Multi-Link System Test and Training Tool (MLST3) during Interoperability Developmental and Certification (IDCT) testing.
Essential Functions/Job Duties:
Provide Multi-Link System Test and Training Tool (MLST3) operations and on-line data collection/analysis during developmental and certification test evolutions. Provide annotated test procedures to the Test Director (TD) for post-test analysis coordination and assignments. Prepare Trouble Reports (TR) on all system issues discovered during the test and assist in TR analysis as required.
Responsible for following and executing test steps and/or test cases described and documented in the test plan and associated procedures.
Provide test support to the Distributed Integrated Interoperability Assessment Capability (DIIAC) and Coalition Distributed Engineering Plant (CDEP) projects.
Configure, setup and operate various Simulation/Stimulation (SIM/STIM) systems including Pelorus, Common Connectivity Device (CCD), Test and Training Enabling Architecture (TENA) gateway manager, and MLST3 during DIIAC/CDEP testing and evaluation events.
Provide technical support during DIIAC/CDEP test events in the areas of problem detection and resolution activities, observation of systems under test and submission of Test Observation Reports (TORs) as necessary.
Provide Aegis and/or SSDS console operation in various baseline configurations during DIIAC/CDEP testing and evaluation events. Candidate may also be required to support at-sea testing during Deploying Group System Integration Test (DGIST) events.
Standard computer equipment and Naval Combat Systems, Simulation Stimulation (SIM/STIM) systems.

Essential Physical Tasks:
Ability to lift 10 lbs. on an occasional basis.
Potential domestic and international travel 10% of the time by automobile and/or air. Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time, using a personal computer, keyboard and mouse on a consistent basis.
Possesses solid writing skills and the ability to develop mid-level informational briefs, point papers, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Test Observation Reports (TORs), and lessons learned as required. Provides technical status, project updates and issue identification input to Monthly Status Reports (MSR).
Demonstrates excellent, clear and concise verbal communication skills. Active communicator, giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate.
Skills/Qualifications: One year relevant experience in the operation of MLST3 during test and on-line analysis of Tactical Data Link (TDLTDL) message exchange. Ability to generate test scripts as required. Experience in test and operation of Aegis shipboard Combat Systems, TDLsTDLs, SIM/STIMSTIM systems, and associated communications equipment.
Customer Interface Activities: Supports the Government customer during technical discussions, forums, and other program activities. Directly interfaces and coordinates with various Government and/or Prime contractor organizations during test events.

U.S. Citizenship is required
Candidates must have an active clearance OR the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance, and will be subject to a US security background investigation (i.e. favorable background investigation / credit score). Additional eligibility requirements for access to various levels of classified information may also be required. An active security clearance is highly desirable.
