Overview

The project duties involve the setup, loading, initialization, maintenance, and operation ofCommand, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence (C4I) systems. C4I systems include Tactical Data Link (TDL) and Command and Control (C2) systems and associated
simulation, test tools, Radio Frequency (RF), and Communications Security Material (CMS)
support requirements the SSC Pacific Combined Test Bed.

 

Set up, load, initialize, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Link-16 terminals and networks to include Multi-functional Information Distribution System (MIDS), Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS), Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) shipboard and airborne variants. The contractor shall prepare and integrate terminals in a live or simulated Radio Frequency Network (RFN) for development and testing events.

 

Responsibilities

Set up, load, initialize, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Link-16 terminals and networks to include Multi-functional Information Distribution System (MIDS), Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS), Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) shipboard and airborne variants. The contractor shall prepare and integrate terminals in a live or simulated Radio Frequency Network (RFN) for development and testing events.Set up, load, initialize, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Multi TDL Radio Frequency (RF) and voice systems for UHF (LOS/BLOS), and HF communications. This includes Link-11, Link-22, Satellite TDL J (STJ), and Satellite TDL A.Maintain, inventory, and load cryptographic material in support of shipboard and airborne TDL system configurations. This includes Link-16, UHF/EHF/HF Radio Frequency (RF) systems, network devices, and internal / external Radio cryptologic devices to include KG-40, KG-84, KGV-8, KGV-11, KIV-7M/HSB, KG-175A-G, and KIV-21. Use of Simple Key Loader (SKL)

Load, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot TDL host systems for development, testing, and fleet events in accordance with design and operating procedures to include Next Generation Command and Control Processor (NGC2P), Common Data Link Management System (CDLMS), Link Monitoring and Management Tool (LMMT), Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI), Global Command and Control System – Maritime (GCCS-M), and Maritime Tactical Command and Control (MTC2) System.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or GED plus five years experience with Tactical Data Link/Aegia/C41/DoD C41SR Systems/CMS Simple Key Loader.

 

U.S. Citizenship is required

 

Security Clearance: Secret

 

Candidates must have an active clearance OR  the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance, and will be subject to a US security background investigation (i.e. favorable background investigation / credit score). Additional eligibility requirements for access to various levels of classified information may also be required. An active security clearance is highly desirable.
