 We are currently seeking a Senior Technical Manager familiar with Navy C4I systems with experience managing  test and configuration management tasking. Experience and familiarity with SPAWAR Systems Center Code 532 and related C41 systems product lines. The successful candidate will function as the Technical Manager for the end customer tasking and work with company executive management to develop task orders and teaming responses to customer requests for C41 Test and Configuration Management level activities.


Candidate should possess at least 10 years experience either executing or managing personnel in a majority of the following disciplines:


Engineering and management of ashore and/or afloat C4I systems projects, their development and related required test efforts.


Experience with practices and guidelines of Department of Defense
Instruction 5000.01 and 5000.02.


Development of work plans and estimates as they relate to systems integration work tasks and team member assignments.


Systems Integration and Complex system analysis of Navy C4I related systems.


Process of gathering and analyzing data to determine system requirements.

Test & Evaluation experience of ashore and/or afloat C4I systems.


Past Linux/UNIX knowledge (including scripting: bash/perl/python/ruby), working knowledge of C and C++, RDBMS, J2EE and SOA based designs and software modeling/UML tools (e.g. DODAF) and UML diagrams a plus.






Minimum Education Requirements: BS in Computer Science, EE, ME IE, Physics or related discipline.  MS in Computer Science, EE, ME,IE or

Physics desired.

Department of Defense course completions or certifications related to Test and Evaluation are a plus.


Typical Working Conditions: Desk related activities.


Essential Physical Tasks: Must be able to operate personal computer and related functions.


Written Communications: Must development status reports, work plans, internal and external communications with customers and company executive staff.


Verbal Communications: Must have strong communication skills.  The position interfaces directly with U.S. Government personnel and staff


Customer Interface Activities:

Candidate will function as the Technical Manager for customer tasking and represent the company in day to day activities for the assigned projects.


Travel - 25% 


U.S. Citizenship is required


Security Clearance: Secret


Candidates must have an active clearance OR  the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance, and will be subject to a US security background investigation (i.e. favorable background investigation / credit score). Additional eligibility requirements for access to various levels of classified information may also be required. An active security clearance is highly desirable.
